Germantown Cheerleading
Last night I went to Germantown High School's cheerleading practice. Some of you may be wondering why I went. I went because I cheered for Germantown the past three years. I wanted to go watch them practice because they only have like two weeks before they head of to nationals! Hopefully, they will be National Champions! It is such a great feeling. Anyways, during their practice I was yelling for them and saying BE SHARP!! YELL!! LOUDER!! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!!! I just wish I could have been on that blue mat with them doing the routine and yelling, but instead I was up in the front with the coach! That is kind of depressing. Haha! I was getting chills just watching how good they are! I wanted to be out there so bad. I wish I could stay in highschool forever and just cheer for Germantown ..to bad you can't haha! Okay, it may seem like I am obsessed with cheerleading but, I'm not. I just really love to perform in front of thousands of people! Cheerleading has really made me a more competitive and stronger person in life. One more thing, I always said I don't want to cheer in college. One because I always tell myself I want a life in college and cheer is 24/7 and another reason because I didn't really think college cheer would be for me. Well after the past practices of Germantown's I have been to it has changed my mind! I really think I'm going to tryout for Memphis All-Girl in April. YAY!

you don't sound obsessed at all i feel the same way about track. i ran track in high school for four years and now that im not running i feel so useless. i miss the competiviness that was behind a meet and i missed having something where i pushed myslef everyday. i too wish i could go back to highschool and run track for the rest of my life. but alas i can't its really cool that you've decided to try out for the squad i would go out for track but theatre would not allow that. good luck.
Hey Brandi! I think it is great that you went. It probably really pumped those girls up. I remember the practices close to national and how stressful it can be. I did not know that you were even thinking about trying out for all-girl in April but I know that you would be great at it!
I know exactly how that is! I cheered for six years total in middle school and high school, and I had some of the best times of my life, while I was cheering! I loved cheerleading in high school, but college is on a totally different level! I was really upset my senior year when I knew that would be my last year! But I think that ship has sailed for me, but good luck and I wish you the best!
Hey Bran! I am really excited that you have decided to try out for all-girl!! I know you will do awesome! I still look back and wonder where I would be if I continued cheering. I am so glad you decided to continue to cheer after our dumb decision with TN All-Stars. Good luck with your future in cheerleading. I can’t wait to see you cheering at Memphis games and performing at competitions!
I think you should definetely try out. I played so many sports in high school, and I miss them so much, especially volleyball. If you love cheerleading enough, I think you should definetely try out. I understand how hard it is to watch other people play the sports you want to be playing. I like the coaching aspect too though. Well I hope you try out, and if you do, you will have to keep us updated about what happens.
I think it is great that you go and show your support to the girls that probably looked up to you.I Like to play basketball and tennis and it is hard for me to with school and work.I miss it just as much as you missed cheering.I think you will do great at the audition so good luck.
